Small Business Assistance Grant – December 2021
This grant provides financial assistance of up to $12,500 to small businesses that were directly financially impacted by the Chief Health Officer’s COVID Restrictions (Directions) from 23 December 2021 to 4 January 2022.

In addition to this grant, a revamped Getting the show back on the Road support program is available for festivals and events required to be closed or cancelled over the restricted trading period.
Nightclubs forced to close are eligible for a one-off $20,000 grant and will be invited to apply directly to that program.

Safe Transition Industry Support Package
On 10 February 2022, the Premier announced a $77 million support package to provide financial assistance to small and medium sized businesses in the following industries:
- international education
- tourism
- aviation
- events
