CommBank SmallBiz Week – Helping Small Businesses Thrive

Australian Business Forum (ABF) is excited to announce the return of CommBank SmallBiz Week in 2024, Australia’s leading national small business event.

Due to high demand, the event will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 28-30 May, 2024, bringing together thousands of business owners, government agencies, and industry leaders.

Now in its third year, CommBank SmallBiz Week includes six high-profile events over three days, designed to assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) grow and succeed.

This year will focus on emerging technologies, with a focus on artificial intelligence and automation.

According to a recent report by the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman, SMEs account for 99% of all Australian businesses and employ 4.8 million people.

To support this significant sector responsible for large contributions to Australia’s economic growth, the event will include a free expo with over 120 exhibitors, educational workshops and seminars, and networking opportunities across all industry sectors.

CommBank SmallBiz Week 2024 will have over 100 speakers on two stages with keynotes and panels featuring industry experts, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders. The main event Small Business Expo will showcase over 120 exhibitors.

The event kicks off on 28 May with a gala awards dinner celebrating the Champions of Business with the CommBank Young Hero Awards now in its fourth year. The awards program recognises the achievements of trailblazing entrepreneurs and business leaders under 35 years.

With a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and the ever-evolving landscape, CommBank SmallBiz Week 2024 is suitable for both seasoned and aspiring entrepreneurs, providing the tools and knowledge needed to thrive in the competitive world of small business.
