St Kilda’s famous St Patrick’s Festival is just around the corner! St Patrick’s Festival is coming back to St Kilda, Melbourne on Saturday March 18 and will offer a blend of free fun for families during the morning and early afternoon featuring a parade followed by an adults-only ticketed festival headlined by the Hermitage Green band later in the day.

With two parts to the day, it all kicks off at 10am with a free family event in St Kilda. At 10am, enjoy carnival rides, roving entertainers, Irish dance shows, and live music all accompanied by the perfect refreshment – cold, fresh Guinness for sale. Watch adorable furry friends participate in the Dog Show starting at 12pm.

And don’t miss the main event: the all-new parade taking place at 2pm and starting from Shakespeare Grove car park. The parade will march down Acland Street and feature locals from the Irish community including Irish pubs, Irish dancing clubs and GAA football teams showing off their pride. Wear your greenest outfit to join the festivities – see you there!

For those over 18 years old, next up is the St Patrick’s Day Festival at O’Donnell Gardens – now in its fourth year! Don’t miss out on Melbourne’s largest St Patrick Day festival and get your tickets during the pre-sale as they’re likely to sell out.

Partygoers can come down from 3pm onwards to see amazing live music acts like Pat McKernan, The Lost Backpackers, The Bad Penguins and headliner Hermitage Green and party into the night. The festival includes live local bands on stage, as well as games, entertainment and plenty of food vendors and beer tents.
