Small businesses can claim a rebate on everything from venue hire to vehicle inspections. Small businesses are encouraged to take advantage of the NSW Government’s $1,500 rebate scheme to help cover the cost of NSW and local government fees and charges.
The Small Business Fees and Charges Rebate is open to small businesses that have a total wages bill below the new 2020-21 $1.2 million payroll tax threshold. The rebate is available until 30 June 2022, for eligible fees and charges due and paid from 1 March 2021.
