Visit reopening wineries in your state

It’s time to get out and about. These wineries are open for socially-distanced business – read on to check out what’s on offer in your state.

Bit by bit, our favourite wineries around the country are reopening their doors and welcoming guests for the first time in months. With new restrictions in place, capacities are capped, and bookings are essential. Read on to plan a day-trip with friends or your next weekend away.

WESTERN AUSTRALIA

        • Domaine Naturaliste, Margaret River

      Seated tastings are now available, including wine flights of six premium samples. Tastings cost $12, redeemable on selected purchases.

      This winery is now open for seated tastings indoors and out. Bring your own picnic hamper, and book ahead to secure a spot.

      The cellar door is open for tastings Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm, and the restaurant is open for lunch from 11.45am.

      The restaurant and cellar door are now open with limited capacity. Book ahead.

      Restaurant bookings are available for a maximum of six people per party; the cellar door and sculpture garden are also open.

      The winery is currently open weekends only for tasting on the terrace or the “Feed Me” menu at $49 per person. Bookings for Montalto Winter Picnics are also now available at three locations on the winery grounds, with glassware, a rug and bottle of wine included in the price.

        • Shaw + Smith, Adelaide Hills

      Book ahead to secure one of a limited number of spots in the tasting room.

      The d’Arenberg Cube – including the Alternate Realities Museum, Salvador Dali Exhibition and the tasting room – is now open Thursday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm. Cashless payment is preferred, and online bookings are available.
