New accommodation support grant for businesses impacted by cancellations: Grants of $2,000 and $5,000 are available for affected accommodation providers.
NSW accommodation providers who experienced booking cancellations due to COVID lockdowns can now apply for the accommodation support grant through Service NSW.
Businesses affected by cancellations for stays between Friday 25 June 2021 and Sunday 11 July 2021, may be eligible to apply for grants of:
- $2,000 for cancellations of 10 nights or less
- $5,000 for cancellations of 11 nights or more
Owners and operators who have more than one accommodation property in NSW will be able to submit an application for each property.
Those who operate a private residence, such as an Airbnb or short-stay accommodation rental, may be eligible for the grant if they meet the eligibility criteria.
Eligible accommodation providers who have received the 2021 COVID-19 business grant, micro-business grant or JobSaver payment can apply for this grant.
